This might be out last practice match before a league match and what a way to finish that with a win by 53 runs. Cheers Team!
There are many positives from this match and some of the key ones -
Partnerships - We had a very good 1st wicket partnership between Richy and Madhu. Both of them got retired hurt and 2nd wicket was down only in 13th over. Partnership is very crucial for any game and that helped the team to build a mammoth total of 196 runs.

2. Slog hitting - after the initial partnership, crucial was to finish on high note with as much run can be made. That was provided by Naveed, Naeem and Sandeep.

3. Catches win the matches - today's fielding was exceptional. Rohit's and Mahesh's catches were blinder, Hemanth's run out was amazing and as usual Naveed took couple of catches with ease.
4. Low extras - we bowled 18.4 overs and there were only 6 extras.

5. Low economy rates by Madhu and Naeem - In such a high scoring game Madhu and Naeem bowled exceptionally well to keep economy rate to 2 and 3.5 respectively.

With all above points there are always scope if improvements. Few things that team can improve are -
Better economy rate - opponents had more than 7 run rate and we need to control that. We need as a team to control the runs and not just by 1 or 2 bowlers.

2. Maiden Overs - While batting we gave two maiden overs. If we are not able to hit then focus should be to rotate the strike. Six singles are better than trying to hit and getting 0 run.

3. Type of runs - although we scored more runs but in types of runs we were behind on doubles and triples. With a good competitive team we can't just depend on boundaries, rotating strike, Singles, doubles and triples are key.

4. Fielding - if openents are managing more doubles and triples meaning we need to have better control on fielding and over throws.

Thanks Richy. Good points on running between the wickets and cutting runs while fielding. We need to control runs in first power play and try to keep things under 30 runs.
